Project

Woman
Empowerment Project
It seeks to reduce poverty among the Parkari
rural community by promoting skills
trainings, and income generation activities
(milking goat) in the neediest poor women
and their families and groups. Like She-Goat
initiative and Handicraft etc.
CSP believes in actively supporting the deserving most
needy rural women in natural disasters
happen and provision of aid becomes
necessary for the survival of vulnerable
communities in CSP’s targeted areas. CSP
strives to provide emergency relief whenever
possible with the cooperation with other
NGOs & GOs in Pakistan.
Free Milking-Goat support the Poor Parkari woman in CSP’s targeted working villages. Its long-term aim is to enable the Parkari women and their families to be self-sufficient, to meet the need of the family income and others expenses.
CSP provides initial seed money for needy women to buy she-goats, for her family.
The poor woman and her family look after the she-goat, and as it is their own and take care of it. Milk from the she-goat improves the family’s diet, and any surplus milk can be sold for profit.
When the Milking-Goats have kids, family or woman must look after these kids till they are a year old. If there are two kids, the one kid will be return to the organization as it again will be given to other needy poor family. In this way, the system can continue indefinitely with no extra seed money.
It is some dort of income generating as family may have more kids and grown up kids will be sold out to meet the house hold expenses and family also will have milk, the family moves toward own sustainability.
